Welcome to Third Grade!

Third grade is an exciting year filled with growing learning opportunities. Our heart is to see students grow in their responsibility skills and character development. We focus on math facts and mastering multiplication in third grade. We also discover more about the solar system and the Civil War while expanding our writing and vocabulary skills. We travel through the Bible, highlighting the stories of Jesus and learn to apply them to our personal lives.

In third grade, we go on three field trips. We visit the Jurupa Mountain Discovery Center to learn more about rocks and minerals. We go to the OC Discovery Cube where we get great hands-on learning focused on earthquakes and tsunamis. Lastly, we travel to Knott’s Berry Farm to experience Native American culture.
