Calvary Murrieta Elementary Trips
Rawhide Ranch
Our 6th graders will visit Rawhide Ranch located in Bonsall, CA for an exciting, fun-filled time from March 29, 2011 – April 1, 2011. The students begin each day with a healthy ranch breakfast and then scurry off to animal care.
Their days are filled with activities such as horse back riding, archery, pony showing, cattle roping, and many more. Every day ends with a special speaker and band, leading the students in praise and worship and encouraging them to reach for higher goals in their walk with God! The climax of the week is a horse show held on Friday. Every child looks forward to participating in this competition!
Catalina
Students in fifth grade have the unique opportunity of spending three days at camp on Catalina Island, exploring the habitats and ecosystems of the plants and animals that live there. Campus by the Sea is a camp that is tucked into a small valley right next to the ocean, and from their warm and snug cabins students can hear the waves on the shore. Through hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, squid dissections, star gazing, campfires and more, they become young marine biologists who learn to appreciate the beauty and wonder of God’s creation.
