Assisting & Guiding Students

The main goal of the counseling services at Calvary Murrieta Christian School is to assist and guide our Junior High students in their spiritual, social, and educational needs. All students have equal access to guidance services and opportunities. We want to provide our students with a safe environment where they can freely discuss their current hopes, struggles, and future goals. It is our desire to partner with parents in educating and equipping the whole student–academically, socially, and spiritually. We appreciate parent questions and input, so please feel free to contact the Guidance Department at any time.

Tutoring

All Junior High core class teachers (English, Math, Science, Bible, History) are available for free after-school tutoring in their classrooms Monday-Thursday from 2:50-3:30. We encourage all our students to take advantage of this opportunity any time they have questions or need extra instruction.

Educational & Career Counseling

Though our students are in 7th and 8th grades, it is never too early to think about their future education and career plans. We want to give the students a number of opportunities to increase their awareness of their own gifts, interests, and strengths as they develop their abilities and apply them toward their vocational interests. All students and parents are welcome to ask about career counseling and post-Junior High academic plans.

International Student Program

Calvary Murrieta Christian School welcomes all students from diverse countries. Study abroad is an exciting and broadening experience that enriches any educational curriculum. Our mission is to offer and direct the knowledge international students need to become influential global Christian leaders, equipped to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Calvary Murrieta Christian School’s core curriculum and quality faculty are well approved to help our graduated international students reach their intended universities successfully.  Mrs. DoHee Lee, who heads up this program, can be reached at 951-834-9190 x1272 and dlee@cmcsweb.com
