JH Band Handbook

Welcome to the 2011-2012 Calvary Murrieta Junior High Band.  My name is Mr. Scott Merrin and I am looking forward to growing and experiencing music with you this school year. 
 
The band program at CMCS offers a wide variety of performance opportunities including concert band, jazz band, solos and small ensembles, private lessons as well as assistance with auditioning for honor groups.  With this variety of options, I hope that students will enjoy participating in band and find multiple opportunities to glorify the Lord in their band experiences.
 
I am available if you have any questions about the band program at CMCS.  I look forward to a successful year of working together to glorify and worship the Lord through our music!
