The CMCS Fine Arts Department will be hosting its first concert of the year next week on Tuesday, Oct. 16th. This fundraising event features our Junior High and High School Choral and Instrumental Ensembles playing a variety of tunes from the DISNEY spectrum. Songs like “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” “Remember Me,” and even some memorable tunes from Star Wars and Marvel will be featured in this gripping performance. The concert also marks the premier of our recently revived SECONDARY CONCERT CHOIR in their very first performance as a group! Don’t miss it!
The event will also feature a SILENT AUCTION where the winner can go home with some fabulous prizes! The concert starts at 6:30 PM at the Secondary Outdoor Stage and the cost is $5 PER SEAT. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
Come out and support the Band and Choir as they raise funds to attend a festival and workshop at Disneyland! We hope to see you there!
Each year, Tim Tebow hosts an event called “Night to Shine Prom,” that is a special magical night for individuals with developmental disabilities to party at prom. It will be held on February 8th, 2019 located at Crossroads Church in Corona. Each guest will be matched with a buddy to spend the evening with. If you are interested in becoming a buddy or volunteering in any area at this event, come see Kyla for more details on how to sign up. It will be the night of your life as you dance, sing, eat and become friends with your guest.
Global Outreach Travelers! Don’t forget Haiti paperwork and deposit is due today no later than 3:30 pm. Please turn all items in to Kyla or Garrett in room 211.
Hey Seniors! Listen up!
We’re having an exclusive Senior Sunrise gathering on Friday in the morning. It’ll be an event for us to cheer for an awesome senior year from start to finish. We’ll be meeting at 6:15 in the morning on the field – don’t worry, we’ll be able to function properly ’cause coffee and donuts (<- repeat three times in an echoey voice) will be provided – to lift praise to the Lord and pray for His goodness throughout the year for the whole school. Come on out, guys! Take the chance to get together for one of the last times in our high school life!
Men, join us tomorrow for the Men’s Breakfast, 7:30-9:00am in the gym. Our guest speaker will be André Murillo. He is a pro basketball player from Germany, studied Theology at Biola and will be sharing his life story and testimony. There is a suggested donation of $7 to cover the meal.
